Else, if all low quality cells are full, prisoners might rot in solitary. When using the cell quality rating, it is highly advisable to have shared cells (or dormitories ). The using of cell quality can be toggled in the Policy Tab. I assume that because these blocks are split (non-family cells on one side and family cells on the other) that the default canteen selection (the non-nursery one) is conflicting (or taking priority) over the manually assigned ones. It ranges from 0-15 and dictates how comfortable a prisoner is in that cell. I've noticed locking down the prisoners does not cause the guards to fetch food for them either. However prisoners in these cells will starve. I can make the assignments, and see a solid red line (making me assume this is allowed and works.) this also validates the room removing the ! Warning on canteen assignment. In my case this is occurring with assigning family cells to a nursery in a block which needs multiple canteen assignments. Requirements: Min Size: 2x3 - Can be reduced by a Lawyer. but lets try and add more info for any potential devs looking at this.
